SMS consent is collected separately from general access to the service. Invited users are told what messages may be sent before they choose whether to opt in.
During invitation or onboarding, SMS uses a separate unchecked consent box with plain-language disclosure and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
If keyword enrollment is enabled for an invited user, the follow-up reply confirms the program identity, message types, message frequency, and opt-out and support instructions.
Message frequency varies by activity. Msg & data rates may apply. Users can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support at any time.
